Federal red snapper season kicked off strong this year. We've been limiting out on quality fish in the 8-15 lb range, with a few bruisers pushing past 20. The bite has been best early morning on the deeper structure, 120-180 feet out. If you've been thinking about booking an offshore trip, now is the time. These spots fill up fast in July.
Water temps are sitting around 84°F, seas have been calm 1-2 footers most days. Perfect conditions.

Yesterday was one of those days you dream about. Found a weed line about 50 miles out loaded with schoolie mahi in the 10-15 lb class. Lost count of how many we caught. The crew boxed their limit and we were back at the dock by 2pm. We also picked up a nice bull dolphin pushing 30 lbs on the troll.
The offshore bite is as good as it gets right now. Blue water, clean weed lines, and hungry fish.

The inshore bite has been consistent all month. Slot redfish are stacked up on the flats during the morning low tides, and sight-casting to tailing reds never gets old. We're also picking up nice trout on the grass flats with soft plastics and live shrimp.

Had an incredible moment yesterday: a 10-foot great hammerhead cruised alongside the boat for a good five minutes while we were bottom fishing. The crew got some amazing photos and video. Moments like these are why we love being on the water every day.
