With over 15 years on the water, Captain Jon knows these fishing grounds like the back of his hand. Born and raised on the coast, fishing isn't just a job, it's a way of life.

Whether it's tracking down schools of mahi-mahi offshore or finding that perfect redfish flat, Captain Jon brings a mix of deep local knowledge, genuine passion, and a knack for making sure everyone on the boat has the time of their life.

Fully USCG licensed and insured. First aid and CPR certified. Always striving for a good fishing story.

A Note From Captain Jon

Big Fish Energy is a small operation; just me and my first mate. We're not a big outfit with a fleet of boats and a rotating cast of crew. When you book with us, you get the same two people every time.

Big Fish Energy runs aboard a 25-foot SeaHunt GameFish, built for both comfort and serious fishing. She's got the range to reach the deep water and the stability to keep everyone comfortable, even when the seas pick up.

My Story

Big Fish Energy started the way all good fishing stories do: with a dream and a boat. What began as weekend trips with friends and family turned into a full-time charter operation once it became clear that sharing the water with others was the best part.

We're not a factory charter cranking out trips. We keep our schedule manageable so every guest gets a personal, unhurried experience. When you fish with us, you're not a ticket number. You're crew for the day.
